Veridyne Power’s mission is to provide a pragmatic, economical and environmentally sustainable energy solution for both Grid and Distributed Power applications. Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC) can operate with many hydrocarbon fuels. However by focusing on coal (a natural resource that is virtually unlimited in supply) Veridyne Power’s design can offer aging and outdated Coal Fired Power plants the ability to produce the same electrical output, using 50% less coal, with zero smog and a minimum of 50% reduction in CO2 emissions. This new technology is a key energy solution to the sustainability of our planet.

Mr. Weaver has been a well-respected member of the power and energy industry for several decades. His education and designation as a Chartered Professional Engineer in Mechanical, Nuclear, Energy and Petroleum along with experience from a number of ventures early in his career has allowed David to lead several large companies including CMS Energy and BP to great success in new markets before establishing his own company, GSS Energy, of which he remains Managing Director. Since starting his own company he has successfully served in several non-executive Director/Chairman positions, by invitation, in private and listed companies in several countries and acted as adviser and consultant to governments, banks and large corporate organizations, including interim CEO during the privatization of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. His accolades include being awarded Director of the Year 2013 by DeLoitte, Founder Member of the Institute of Petroleum Engineers, Fellow of the Energy Institute, and serving as advisor to UK’s Prime Minister on trade missions representing the UK Technology Sector.
Mr. Hogendoorn has been involved in Corporate Finance and Venture Capital as an Independent Consultant for over 20 years. He has specialized in technology and mining and was a major component in successfully financing over 25 companies. From 2009 to 2015 Peter was President of Scepter Media and its wholly owned subsidiary, Odyssey Media Inc., which recently raised $20 million in new investor funding. Peter’s involvement with LML Payment Systems Inc., an electronic payment processing company, lead to $26 million in investor funding to further propel the company into the $20 billion dollar market of global online transactions. LML was recently sold to Digital River, Inc. of Minneapolis. Mr. Hogendoorn has been involved in financing several alternative energy and advanced materials, including pyrolysis conversion of plastics to energy and carbon char, composite carbon/resin/fiber and ceramics, and most recently the completion of a nutraceutical plant in Abbotsford, BC.
Mr. Reum has over 35 years of senior executive leadership of both the public and private companies. Rod has played a key role in management of the financing of many enterprises up to CAD $1.3 billion dollars for one project. He has been an officer and director of several public companies assisting a number of them through the “going public” phase of their growth. He has also been instrumental in bringing several new technologies from the development stage to market in the alternative energy, military and law enforcement sectors.
Mr. Nichols is a Product Manager in the building automation industry. He has spent the past decade envisioning products to meet real-world needs and steering them through the development process until realized. Working at Delta Controls, he brought to market several products, managing several internal and external project teams at any given time. His robotics background gives him an excellent foundation in electrical, mechanical and software systems which he utilizes to understand complex issues to help direct development to successful outcomes. He has product and project managed large teams of both local and remote team members, including projects involving a complete system for GE Lighting. Glenn holds a diploma in Robotics and Automation from the British Columbia Institute of Technology earned him the Robotics and Automation Award for achieving top of his graduating class.
Mr. Nichols is responsible for project and product management of the SOFC solution by coordinating the corporate partners towards a common product vision.
